Think Globally, Act Locally

Nowadays, the theme about human development and its relation with the environment has attain a unpredictable dimension, therefore, some aspects such as water, disposal of solid waste, forest fire prevention or the species conservation require a bigger participation from all social sectors. Since all these different events, such as the glaciers melting due to global warming, flooding due to El Niño phenomenon, the extinction of species due to hunting or habitat destruction, among some others have, as hard as it is to believe, a relationship with our everyday activities, either we are consumers, users, generators, etc.
In fact, in Yucatan, some of the effects of the environment deterioration are closer that what we believe; we are already facing a series of environmental realities that perhaps we do not relate and/or know due to the lack of diffusion; but that is a fact that threatens our common future.
As an environmental organization, here at Kids and Critters A. C. we assigned ourselves the task of creating projects which help to instill an environmental ethic and bring up persons more responsible with nature; we invite you to explore this section and know our projects.
